TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— In honor of Veterans Day, a local dentist’s office is doing its part to help those who served our country.
Elite Smiles Dental is holding its Smiles for Freedom event. They will be providing free dental care for veterans. Steve Piliovich is a dentist with Elite Smiles Dental and he said they’re expecting to see around 50 or 60 veterans.
“It’s important to get back to the community, particularly the veterans for for their service and it’s something we can do with our time and our treasure,” said Pilipovich. “We feel real strongly about that this is one thing we can provide here at the office.”

This is the third year they’ve done this, and Steve said they plan to continue it for years to come.
