Parma Heights’ Boyko Dental building new State Road office in Parma

PARMA, Ohio — Currently located in Parma Heights, Boyko Dental is building a new office in Parma expected to be open late summer or early fall next year.

“We’ve been very blessed continuing to grow and we’re just kind of growing the space we’re in,” said Dr. Corey Boyko, a 2007 Padua High School graduate who lives in Strongsville.

“I have a lot of years to work yet, so I figured I might as well move when I’m young.”

The Parma native said moving has been on his radar for a couple of years.

Originally, he was looking for the right adaptive reuse building, but that proved difficult.

Then he located three undeveloped acres on State Road.

“Growing up on that side of Parma, I drove by it every day,” he said.

“It just kind of makes sense. It kind of felt like home for us and so it was an exciting opportunity.”

The 7360 State Road location will boast roughly 6,300 square feet, which marks a significant increase from the current office’s nearly 4,000 square feet in Parma Heights.

“We currently have eight chairs, which aren’t as efficient or functional as I’d like them to be,” he said. “The new facility will have room for 13 chairs.

“I don’t think we’re going to need those right off the bat, but definitely leave a little bit of breathing room for some expansion down the road. We’ve shown lots of signs of growth here the last few years. We’re hoping that continues.”

Boyko Dental currently offers preventive routine cleanings, exams and x-rays, as well as general dentistry, dental implants and orthodontics.

“I’ve tried to keep as many services in-house as we can,” he said. “Down the road, we’re hoping to add some more services, but we also want to make sure we’re being great at what we do currently.

“We’ve been very blessed to see many generations of families come through here. That’s a great part of our practice.”

Speaking of family, something that can’t be ignored is the new dental office is going in next door to Parma’s popular Stancato’s Italian Restaurant.

“Stancato’s has been a staple — my family has been going there for years,” he said. “We always joked the remodel they did a few years ago was funded by my grandma because she went there so often.

“We’re really excited to be next door and hopefully continue to grow alongside them.”
